Everything depends on the circumstances of the flight. It all depends on how many passengers were on the plane to fly the number of pieces of luggage on board and how quickly. A standard-B744 has a capacity of 52,410 U.S. gallons of fuel. The distance between New York and London is 3450 miles. However, the fuel flow depends on the planes, at what level the aircraft flew A. In a typical flight at normal speed may be 15 liters of fuel per kilometer. 15x 3450 = 51,750 liters.
